BIKE MIKE'S BIRTHDAY

Big mike is a convert to the church. He moved out here a few years ago to play football for Dixie State College. C.J. and Jason started teaching him the gospel after Big Mike moved in and became Jason's roommate. He had one of the biggest turn outs at a baptism I have ever seen and is one of the strongest members I know. He has become one of our best friends and we love him very much.

A year after being baptized Big Mike married his wife Ashley in the St. George Temple and almost 9 months later had a little boy and named him Isaiah,who is now 6 months old, 20 lbs, and has the thickest thighs I have ever seen on any baby. What did you expect look at his daddy!

Big Mike loves to grill so for his birthday C.J. and Jason made him this apron. I am surprised it fit, I thought it was going to look like a little bikini on him!

Everyone is wearing Livestrong shirts because Big Mike was diagnosed with testicular cancer about 2 or 3 weeks ago. He went in to have one of his "little boys" removed and tested. The doctor was almost positive the cancer had spread through out his body and sent him in for a catscan. With lots of fasting and prayers we are so happy to say that the catscan showed that the cancer had not spread and that Mike was cancer free! Its amazing what prayer can do to someone's life. Mike still has to go get check ups to monitor his body but we are every hopeful that he will be healthy as an ox
