FEEDING THE DUCKS
I am always looking for new things to do with Jaysa. We decided to take her to go feed the ducks. She was scared, I think it will take a few more times of going for her to get used to it.
She didn't like the ducks eating the bread out of her hand so she would lean over like this and place the bread in the water for them
I had to hang on to her pretty tight! She almost fell in a few times cause she was leaning so far over!
I kept trying to get her to let the ducks eat out of her hand. Every once in a while they would nip her hand and she kept whining about it. I told her that it was ok cause it didn't hurt that bad but then I got nipped by one!
Swinging at the park by herself!

ENTERTAINMENT AT THE OFFICE
One of Jaysa's favorite things to do is watch Dora the Explorer. I let her watch two episodes of Dora in the morning so I can get some work in.
The box that pops-up and plays the episode is not that big so she likes to get as close as she can to it.
Then she takes a nap for about 2.5 to 3 hours, which is when I get most of my work done. We usually bring some sort of baby for her to sleep with but we forgot so I guess she just thought she would just use her shoe. :)

CALVIN!
C.J. and I go down to Vegas a lot more with his new job. I try to help my mom out with Calvin so I get him up in the morning and get him ready for school. My mom has been collecting funny shirts for him to wear and this is my favorite one.
Love it!

POTTY TRAINING
Jaysa has been showing the first signs of being able to be potty trained. She tells us when she is poopy and the other day she was saying before she had anything in her diaper so we put her on her Dora potty. She sat there for a minute and then got up and turned around to point to Dora and Boots on the back of her potty and dropped a log right there! Then she turned around and sat back down like it never happened.
We were so close!
Oops!

This is a video of our boss's son Nash trying to teach Jaysa how to roll down the hill at the football game.

HALLOWEEN!!!!!
This is Jaysa's pumpkin that daddy helped her carve.
The first time Jaysa saw C.J. stick the knife in her pumpkin she had the most worried look on her face. She has been treating this pumpkin like a baby, carrying it around in her stroller and patting it.
Digging out the inside

I thought Jaysa would hate touching the gooey insides but she didn't seem to mind it.
She got her hands right in there
She worked so hard on this pumpkin.
It took him like 30 mins to carve the face! I kept making fun of him cause it was taking him so long.
Here is C.J.'s pumpkin! Of Course he would put a longhorn on it!

TRICK-OR-TREATING
This year we had the theme of Red Neck Wedding. Jaysa was our little red neck kid we already had and we are just now deciding to get married after I am pregnant for the second time.
To get Jaysa ready I had to make her hair look really gross. I put wax in her hair and straightened each one of her curls.
The curly hair is really uneven in length when you straighten it so it turned out perfect!
It look me a little while so we had to put on Dora so that she would stay still.
The finished product!
We also added some Halloween makeup to make her face look dirty
We also put a just married sign on C.J's back and I tied some cans around my waist that clanked together when I walked. (We were too redneck to have a get-a-way car at the end of our wedding)
We also both had ugly teeth to wear. Ha Ha I look so ugly! I am so happy my parents paid for me to have braces!
Here we are! What a beautiful family! You can see but I am wearing work boots with my wedding dress to give it more of a red neck touch
We also gave Jaysa a really gross doll to carry around. I bought it at D.I. It had hair when I bought it but it was so old that when I touched its hair it just crumbled! I decided to just take it all off and that it would look even more red neck that way.
Here's a better picture of Jaysa's doll.
Dad and Jaysa
Collecting candy! As we were walking through the neighborhood I was looking at all the other little girls' costumes. Every other mom made their little ones a princess or something really cute. Ha Ha it really made me laugh cause I made my kid opposite she was white trash. We were trying to make her look ugly. Oh well maybe next year.
This is the first year Jaysa was able to really understand what to do.
With Dad's help she went up to each door and collected her candy
I think she really had fun.
Big Mike, Ashley and their two kids Isaiah and Bailey came trick-or-treating with us too.
Isaiah and Jaysa collecting candy by themselves.
It took us an hour and a half to get down two streets. By that time we were all too tired to keep going. Jaysa came home with more candy than this but we had to pass the rest of it out to the trick-or-treaters that came to our door cause we forgot to go get candy to hand out. Ha Ha thats so mean of us but she didn't seem to notice or care.
Here is Jaysa this morning. She is eating her candy while I ask her a few questions about her Halloween experience.

AT CHURCH TODAY
Sacrament is usually a struggle to get through but we had plenty of entertainment today! One of Jaysa's friends Kosene came to visit us and brought his stickers. Him and Jaysa had lots of fun sticking them all over themselves and other people. On Jess's knee
On daddy's face
On daddy's eye and in his ear.
Is it horrible that I took this video during sacrament. I think so but it was to cute not to get on video.
Jaysa also stayed entertained by putting crayons between Jess's toes
Jess and Aaron don't have any kids but they are great sports about helping us with whatever we need to get through sacrament. I bet it make them want to have kids...jk

Jaysa's hair is so curly. I love curly hair! You did a good job of straightening it for her costume though! It sure looked crazy! :O) I'm glad she had fun for Halloween! Holidays are so much fun with kids! We didn't get dressed up here, cuz Camden was sick, but I don't think we would have looked the part quite like you guys did anyway :O)

Oh, and I can't believe you can get her to take a 3 hour nap--at her age especially! How long does she sleep at night? Camden will take a 1-2 hour nap each day, but it never seems long enough. It's great that she can be so good for you at work, too.
