STILL NO BABY :(
I absolutely can not believe I am still pregnant. I have been walking several miles a day and my jog has turned into a run. I have been jumping on the trampoline, walking with one foot on the side walk and one in the road, jogging in place for 30 to 45 mins at a time and doing all kinds of jumping squats, jumping jacks and lunges. Why have I not had this baby yet?! I am so frustrated. I feel like all my hard work has been for nothing. Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment. I am a 2+ not quite a 3 and 80% effaced. They would not strip my membranes because I was not quite 38 weeks yet. I have an appointment tomorrow to have that done. T
hey also did an ultrasound because I was not measuring what I should have been. I was measuring at 33 weeks instead of at 37. I was a little bit worried going into the ultrasound but turns out everything looks fine we just have a little baby. She is measuring at 35 weeks instead of 37, weighs about 6 lbs and is in the 23rd percentile right now. The doctor said they would have been much more concerned and would have induced me right there if she was in the 10th percentile or lower but we are well enough above that. He also told me that doing all the activity I have been doing is great if it makes me feel good but that I shouldn't do it to go into labor because it doesn't work :( Despite what he said I continued with all the activity because I still had a hope that it would work. However after a week of walking several miles every day and doing all of the other crazy things I thought would work I am starting to believe him. Last night I went and ran 2 miles and had NO painful contractions! I couldn't believe it. I am finally realizing that no matter how hard I push myself or how hard I work out this baby is not coming until she is ready. Right now I am hoping that getting my membranes stripped will do the trick but it's also not a for sure thing. If it doesnt work I will seriously be thinking about castor oil. I really don't want to do the castor oil thing.I have always been against this because of a horribly embarrassing experience my friend had but if I don't go into labor Monday night I may be scheduling a date with a castor oil bottle. My last hope is that they would induce me at 39 weeks since this is my second baby. Saturday I will be 39 weeks so its not to much further but I am not positive my doctor will do it. I get so excited when I feel the least bit crampy or have an sort of painful contraction but I always get my hopes up. At this point I am trying to remember that I will not be pregnant forever even though I feel that way sometimes.

THIS PAST WEEK
I just thought I would get a picture of Jaysa's Shrek babies since they are such a big part of our lives. These are Jaysa's favorite toys. She picked them out herself at a garage sale and she has not put them down since! She has at least one with her at all times. They go to the grocery store with us, to the park, to church, and she has to have them all in her crib with her at night.
She has given these little guys so much love that I have had to sew up each of them and even had to replace the fluff in one of them. They always need washing and it's hard to find the time to wash them without her realizing that they are gone. She calls the boy with the hair "the daddy one, the girl is "the mommy one" and the bald boy she calls "the second one" ???? I don't know how she came to call him this but I think it's cause he is the 2nd boy. Ha Ha anyway I just wanted to show yall her true love in life.

CUTE JEANS
Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those people that believes in spending 50 dollars on my kids jeans. In fact I actually think people who do are absolutely ridiculous. 95% of Jaysa's clothes come from garage sales because I don't want to pay a lot of money for something she will grow out of in a few months but I found these little true religions jeans at a garage sale and only paid 2 dollars for them! They are obviously too big but I figured we would give them a try.
They look so dang cute on her. I wish they would fit her forever but lets face it they won't and I won't be buying her another pair after she grows out of them. I will just have to enjoy them while they last. They are no doubt the nicest jeans she will have till she gets older.

MAKING BIRD FEEDERS
I thought this would be a fun project to do with Jaysa. We went out looking for pine cones, which she loves anyway and started covering them in peanut butter
Jaysa kept sawing at the pine cone thinking it would spread the peanut butter :) I had to help her quite a bit to finish the project
Covering it with seeds
I think this was Jaysa's favorite part. She loved getting a handful of seeds and watching it stick to the pine cone.
The final product. No birds have come to eat off of it so far :(

HIKING
This is a family friendly hike we went on this week to try to get me to go into labor. I call it family friendly because about 90% of it was paved so we were able to take the stroller but needless to say it didn't work. It was a three mile walk with lots of hills. I even ran up and down this HUGE hill there was and felt no contractions. Poor Jaysa was so tired by the end she fell asleep.
The sun was buggin her so C.J. put his hat over her face to block the sun. So cute.
We were not able to actually finish the hike because when St. George was having all those floods a few weeks ago the water took out the entire paved trail!

MALL WALKING
It's been way cold for the past few days so I have been trying to do my walking inside. Here is Jaysa playing while I got my walking in. Can you see her baby in the back seat? ha ha too cute.
We didn't even put any money in any of these but she had so much fun playing in them

ZOZO PETS
We got Jaysa a few of those zozo pets for Christmas and her birthday. Aunt Kajsa and her kids also got her one for her birthday so now she has four of them. She calls them mice and loves to let them go in the kitchen. They keep her entertained forever and give me a really good break when I need one. Thank you Kajsa, Jaylie, Brecklyn, and Crew

CUTE PICS
Here is Jaysa eating the donuts we got her for her birthday breakfast.
She LOVED them and devoured all 6 of them by herself!
When my mom was here we took her to Red Lobster, which is her favorite restaurant, and ate like 10 baskets of cheesy rolls. Here is Jaysa sharing daddy's pasta. As you can see, one of her Shrek babies is there by her side.
She had a lot of fun eating the long noodles.
We also went to Chili's on her actual birthday to celebrate. Jaysa LOVES their chocolate shake and thats what they give out for birthdays so we thought we would take her to get one. Can you tell how much she enjoys it? ha ha I love this pic.
