MORE FERGUSON FUN!

THE GREAT RACE
This is the fourth year that C.J. has biked in the Great Race. Every year the college puts on a sort of relay race that has events like a mud pit, a swim, a run, roller blading, slip and slide and several other goofy events. It's actually pretty fun. C.J. has always done the bike race and has a pretty good track record. His team has placed three out of the four years. On average there are about 40 teams that compete. The year I participated I did the bat run. You have to bend over and put you forehead on a bat and spin around like 20 times and then you have to run the bases as fast as you can. WE won that year cause I was so fast..... HA HA HA NOT. We really did win that year but it wasn't because of me.
I didn't get great pictures. Here is C.J. on the bike
and the hand off.
After the race they always have a carnival for kids. This was Jaysa's favorite part. She LOVED this slide. I already blogged a bit about some of this but I found these pictures later so I thought I would put them on.
Every time she got to the bottom of the slide she would say "again, again!" She had so much fun.

BRIELLE'S WEDDING
My cousin Brielle got married the 23rd in the Salt Lake Temple. C.J. was a sweetheart and let me leave the girls at home and have a day to myself! I needed it so bad and I had a great experience up there. I stayed with my sister Kristin and we had to get up way early to get to the temple cause she got married early in the morning. We were walking out the door and I realized that I had forgotten my reccomend... IN ST. GEORGE! Devistated and not really knowing what else to do I got in the car and started driving. I tried calling my Dad to see if he could call the temple for me but he was in Mexico and I couldn't reach him. I didn't want to call my bishop cause it was 7:00am and I knew he wouldn't even know who I was cause we have only said about 5 words to each other. (He is a really old man and not very social) I didn't know what to do. Finally I got so desperate that I called my bishop and his counselor. Neither of them answered probably cause they were still sleeping. Once we got to the temple I was fully expecting to have to sit in the waiting area. I let the men who check you in know that I was here for a wedding but forgot my temple recomend. Then the sweetest old man came to me in full confidence and said "we can fix that" I told him I had already tried to call my Bishop and didn't think there was anything we could do. He then handed me over to another even older man who called my Bishop and HE ANSWERED! I couldn't believe it. Then they wrote me up a temporary temple recomend and I was able to go into the sealing room. About 5 mins after I sat down the bride and groom came in with the sealer who was ELDER BEDNAR!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. I think I started crying right there due to the fact that I had almost missed something so amazing. Elder Bednar made us promise not to put anything he said on the internet so I will not be doing that but I will tell you that it was the most AMAZING sealing I have ever seen and I felt so lucky and blessed to be able to be there.
My sister Kristin, cousin Sara and me.
This one is my favorite. Sometimes I wonder how these two even found husbands... :) J/K! Their husbands are very lucky men. Love you guys! Overall it was a very emotional but great weekend.

DSC EASTER EGG HUNT
Every year Dixie State puts on an Easter egg hunt. It was HORRIBLE this year! There was no candy in any of the eggs! Jaysa got one piece of candy and it was cause someone gave it to her cause they thought she was cute! I was actually looking forward to eating her candy which is probably why I was so angry cause I didn't get any. Ha ha
My cute girl picking up Easter eggs
She enjoyed the cheap toys that she got though she has been playing with them all week so I am grateful.

NEIGHBORHOOD EASTER EGG HUNT!
Here is Jaysa dying eggs at our friends Brandon and Sherrie's house.
C.J. has never done this before! He thought it was so weird that you would dye eggs!
I wasnt there I was up in Salt Lake at the wedding so Sherrie held Paisley all night.
These are Sherrie's girls in their backyard putting on an Easter egg hunt for Jaysa. They did this until it was time for the neighborhood hunt.
Ha Ha Jaysa has never had any competition for finding eggs so she doesn't understand that you have to hurry!

PLAYING HOUSE
These are bad pictures sorry. Jaysa loves it when C.J. and I come to "Her House" and play with her
This is what C.J. thinks about it. :) HAHA
Fun video of C.J. playing house with Jaysa.

AUNT HEIDI
My cousin Heidi came to visit! I played soccer here at Dixie with Heidi back in the day when we were both wild and single. It's crazy now getting together with our kids and thinking back on those days. We both have changed so much since then and I will be honest I am so grateful that we have.
Baby Paisley and Baby Kinley
It's crazy they are only 2 months apart but Kinley looks so much older!
beautiful girls!
Ha I love this picture of Kinley!
Jaysa loves any little kid. She kept coming up and hugging her.
Cute!
Heidi and I tried holding the camera out to get pictures of us and the babies. HA you should have seen the first few pictures we took!
Lots of fun!
This one is my favorite. I love how Miss Paisley is just smiling away! So cute!
Heidi and I didn't actually know that we were cousins until she came home with me and my Dad made the connection. We are actually more like 2nd cousins though. Her grandmother is my Grandmother's sister. Her grandmother actually sat in for my grandmother at my wedding. No matter the connection Heidi has been a wonderful friend to me since we met. We have had our arguments as any of our other roommates would know but she has been there for me through thick and thin. Love you Heidi.

EASTER!
Look what the Easter Bunny left! (Can you tell she just woke up?)
I was up in Salt Lake Saturday for Brielle's wedding and drove back after the reception so I could be here Easter morning. We had a busy week that week and hadn't had time to go get stuff for Easter so when I got home at 1:00 in the morning I headed to Walmart to pick out a few things to surprise Jaysa with.
She is showing me the sparkles that were on one of her eggs.
Jaysa's reaction
HA look at this face! I know exactly what she is thinking.... "Mom stop taking pictures of me"
Here are my cute girls after getting dress in their matching outfits that Nana and Papa bought them.

Paisley is not so sure about Jaysa holding her.
Jaysa loves it but Paisley doesn't
It's SO hard to get a good picture of the both of them!
Here is Miss Paisley by herself.
Look at that big smile!
She is just too cute!
I Love her!

THE EGG HUNT
Usually we are down in Vegas with my parents for Easter but this year it was too chaotic so we just celebrated at home.
Dad hid the eggs all over the yard.
I got her a little pin wheel full of gum and hid it in the bush. She is trying to blow it so it spins. :)

Jaysa took her sweet little time with the egg hunt.
She would find one egg and sit down and open it to see what was inside.
Ha wait till Paisley is old enough. I bet she wont be taking her time or there wont be any eggs left!
I fill my eggs with wonderful chocolate unlike Dixie State.
She found the chocolate bunny!
Here is Dad wishing that Jaysa would hurry up.

Dad and Paisley
Jaysa and her Easter basket.
She had a lot of fun finding her eggs and eating candy
Climbing the rock steps outside our house. This is one of her favorite things to do. She spends hours on these steps.
After our Easter egg hunt we went to the Temple to walk the grounds and show Jaysa the Christus statue.
I never got a great picture of Jaysa.
The temple in the background and the flowers were so pretty
My sweet girl!
Jaysa loved seeing Christ.
This is me showing her "his ouchies"
Jaysa loved hearing his voice. It was a great experience to be able to take her and show her what our Savior did for us.
When we left she said "Bye Jesus, Love you" and then she blew him a kiss. It was sooo cute.
After the temple we went out to Zions National Park because they were having a free day. We got there are it started pouring rain so we stopped at this little store on the way home. They have these cute little buildings that the kids can go wander through. It was a lot of fun.
They also had a little petting zoo!
Paisley and the Donkey are having a heart to heart :)
Llamas!
These things are so funny looking.
Miniture ponies
and one rooster! Jaysa kept chasing him around.

PAISLEY AND MYA
Our friends Brian and Shelbie came up from Arizona for Easter and brought their little girl Mya over so we could see her. She is only 4 months old! She looks so big! Here is her and Paisley holding hands!
Paisley's face is so cute here.
Too Cute!
MY SWEET GIRLS
Jaysa lovin on Paisley
Love them! C.J. wants to take credit for their outfits cause this was the Saturday that I was up in Salt Lake for the wedding. he matched them in pink and purple but opposite from each other.
Jaysa loves loves loves her sister. Every time Paisley is crying she runs and gets her binky and puts it in her mouth. She always wants to help me take care of Paisley. She will be the best big sister.
Here is Dad and Jaysa sharing breakfast.
She kept picking out the strawberries. Even the ones he was about to put in his mouth!
This is how Jaysa plays with Paisley
SOOOOO Cute Jaysa singing "I Love You" to Paisley
This is a song Jaysa made up. It's called Jaysa Sue Ferguson. If you cant tell she is singing her name.

Jaysa making up a song and playing the "drums"
Jaysa has really started to love singing. Here is "I am a Child of God"
