PAISLEY MAE FERGUSON
Originally we had thought we were going to name this little girl Paisley Lyn but C.J. decided he really didn't like it and that he liked the middle name Mae better. I still loved Lyn but told C.J. that if we didn't use Lyn I wanted to use a family name. That sort of backfired on me cause Mae turned out to be a family name on both sides of your family! So that settled it. The official name is Paisley Mae Ferguson! I think it is cute and fits her well.
We had a doctor's appointment Wednesday and Paisley has gained a pound! Right now she is about the size Jaysa was when we brought her home. Paisley's tiny little pin head has also grown and went from the 13th percentile to the 21st and is in the 58th% for height. She will be 3 weeks old on Monday! She is growing so fast!

GRANDPA!
It's so sad but this is the best picture I could get cause Jaysa wouldn't stop moving. My brother Calvin got sick a few days after I had Paisely so my family wasn't able to come up all at once. My mom left earlier than planned so that my Dad, Byrin and Coltin could come see the baby while she watched Calvin.

WILDLIFE MUSEUM

While here my Dad took the boys, C.J. and Jaysa to the Wildlife Museum here in town.
Jaysa had a lot of fun but C.J. said she was scared of a few of the bigger animals.
Jaysa and her untamed hat hair
C.J. said they had a really crazy bug collection. Here is Jaysa sitting on top of the glass. Those are some huge bugs!
Here is Uncle Coltin trying out Jaysa's bed to see if its more comfy than the love seat. :) He decided it wasn't worth it.

C.J.'S HALF MARATHON
Last Saturday C.J. ran a half Marathon. It was a horrible day. It was cold and rainy. I wanted to go watch but it was not good enough weather for Paisley to be out in so I thought I would just try to get there around the time C.J. thought he would cross the finish line. At first he told me to be there two hours after he started but then he changed his mind and said an hour and 45 mins. I was a little late getting out the door but thought I would be fine if I made it there within two hours. As a walked up with the girls I saw C.J. already done talking to some friends! I was so mad at myself! He said I missed it by like two minutes!!!! UGH! At least we still got some pictures though.

Dad, Jaysa and Paisley

Trying out our double stroller we got at a garage sale in Az when we were visiting there for Spring Break last year. We only paid $40 for it!
Jaysa loves to wear socks. She is trying on Dad's socks right here.

She looked so cute running around in C.J.'s socks. She is trying to run away from the camera so I can' t take her picture. So cute.

Cool sun glasses!

FAMILY PICTURES
We also took pictures last Saturday. They were really newborn pics for Paisley but we tried to get one family picture. Despite our efforts I don't think they will turn out at all. Jaysa wouldn't let Paisley close to her! I was so upset cause I really wanted a picture of them together but Jaysa never really got close enough to get a good one. I was seriously bummed but a few days later while doing some Utah History homework (its ridiculous that I am working on all my upper division courses and they still make me take some sort of upper division general like this history class.) I came across this picture. It was a blown up version though so I could see the details a lot better. This is Prophet Joseph Fielding Smith's family. If you look really close at the old guy in the middle (The prophet) then look at the little boy below and to the left of him. He is picking his nose!!!! Ha Ha This made me feel so much better about our family pictures. Even the prophet's family has a hard time taking family pictures! I will post Paisley's newborn pictures as soon as I get them back from the photographer.
If you click on the picture it will blow it up and then you can zoom in a little bit after that! SO FUNNY! Love it!
